And the reason why you need the wire correction adapters such as these are because there are aftermarket crystal or projector 4x6 headlights sold out there that would replace your factory sealed beam headlights. The new crystal or projector will replace your broken, dim, turned yellowish old factory headlight and gives you better visibility. Those new crystal or projector headlight is made to use the H4 size halogen bulbs, H4 halogen bulbs have both high and low beams built-in and has 3 prongs in the back of the bulbs that once you put the bulbs into the new crystal or projector aftermarket headlight housing, 3 prongs stick out from the back. That 3 prongs however usually do not fit directly into your factory power wiring socket from the car that used to plug right into the factory sealed beam or it might have the incorrect polarity configuration that causes the new aftermarket headlight not working properly or not light up at all.
