When the Mercedes Benz C – Class was firstly introduced in the market in the 1993 it contains only the traditional lamp system that provided a shorter range of illumination on the road. After that the halogen lamp system was introduced to the C- class like its elder sister the E- class. The halogen lamps provide wider range of illumination. The halogen illumination system is much closer to the day light from the traditional ones. The daylight is 5400 where the halogen is 3400. Of course the halogen lamps was replaced with the xenon lamps that scores 4300 and provides more illumination.
